I am sure you noticed but we have moved our domain to lumbermap.com 

This move was necessary due to a letter that I received recently notifying me of a possible trademark and copyright violation with another similar sounding woodworking directory and domain name. 

To show "good faith" to all parties involved, I have now moved my domain to lumbermap.com.   I think this more accurately reflects what I am trying to accomplish with this site.  To map retail lumber companies that specializing in products for the woodworking  community.

I want to let you know personally that I meant no harm or foul by this previous domain registration or use of my site.  As I explained in my response letter, I have several niche directories that end with "findit.com" .  Here is a short list of some of them:

The idea and inspiration behind this site is to help woodworkers and other hobbyists find local lumber companies and other lumber companies. There are also other features to the site. Features such as:

• Videos from video streaming sites such as Youtube, Google Video and Revver
• Woodworking Forum
• Woodworking Glossary (in progress)
• Selected Woodworking Articles from various internet article directories

Feel free to add your company or listing to our directory. All entries are approved so if it doesn't appear right away give me a few hours to approve it.
